Voting has begun for Indiana county committees for the Farm Service Agency. Ballots are being mailed out to eligible farmers and ranchers across the country.
The deadline to return ballots is December second. Any newly-elected F-S-A county committee members will take their seats at the beginning of the new year. Farmers must be involved in a F-S-A program to be eligible to vote in the county committee election. Producers who supervise and conduct operations for a farm, but who are not of legal voting age otherwise, are also eligible to vote for County F-S-A committee members.
More information is available by contacting your nearest F-S-A county office.
