Vincennes City Council Approves Adjusted Interlocal Agreement for Pantheon Building Board

The Vincennes City Council has adjusted part of an an inter-local agreement for a proposed Pantheon Building Board of Directors.
The change concerns the fifth member of the Board. Originally, the fifth member would have represnted downtown Vincennes developer InVin in the first year. After that, the fifth position would have rotated among City and County appointments. The new language now would give InVin the fifth position permanently. The other four appointments would be made by Mayor Joe Yochum; Vincennes City Council; the Knox County Commissioners; and the Knox County Council.
The Board would be in charge of the building itself. Plans are to renovate the structure at Fifth and Main in Vincennes; it would become a business incubator known as the “Pantheon Business Theater.”
The Knox County Council and Commissioners will now consider the amendment for possible approval.
