VPD Arrest Vincennes Man After Call to Depot Street Residence

Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man yesterday following a call to a residence in the 400-block of Depot.
Officers found 24 year-old Jamaal Williams in the location. Williams was found to be maintaining a common nuisance. He is also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and false informing. He is also charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Williams was booked into the Knox County Jail on five-thousand dollars bond.

Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man this morning following a call to a burglary near the corner of Eighth and Hart Streets.
Officers arrested 32 year-old Michael Oliver in connection with the burglary of a dwelling. A further search found Oliver also wanted on a Knox County warrant for check fraud.
Oliver was booked into the Knox County Jail.

Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man yesterday following a stop in the 100-block of New Albany.
Officers stopped a vehicle driven by 56 year-old Morris Butler. During the stop, Butler was found to be wanted on a Knox Superior Court Two warrant for failure to appear in Knox Superior Court Two. His original charge was for operating while intoxicated.
Butler is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.

 

Vincennes Police arrested a Shoals man following a call to the 13-hundred block of Buntin.
Officers found 26 year-old Logan Padgett wanted on a Martin County warrant for probation violation and false informing. Padgett was booked into the Knox County Jail, pending transport back to Shoals to face the warrants.
